Equivalent of encoding, storage, exporting and streaming from MB/GB to minutes

A clear mapping from video minutes to data size in megabytes / gigabytes is not possible. Videos use less data in simple scenes and more data in complex scenes. A minute in Full HD (1080p, 1920x1080) might range from 40mb to 70mb after encoding (the uploaded size will usually be larger, up to ten times), which would result in an average of 55mb. 80,000 video minutes in Full HD may therefore take about 4,400 gigabytes of storage. This size increases on our end though as we encode and store a video in multiple resolutions and formats.

Note that one video minute in our plans does not strictly equal a real minute. Depending on the resolution encoded / streamed, we adjust the factor.

This is done to reflect that lower resolutions require less processing power and data, while higher resolutions require more processing power and data.

From our pricing page:
"A minute equals one minute in HD resolutions (720p or 1080p). SD minutes (360p or 540p) are counted as 0.5 minutes, WQHD (1440p) as 1.5 minutes and UHD (2160p) as 2 minutes."
