Lesson 6: Embedding on website

    What good is a multilingual video if you can't publish it on your website? You're right, you wouldn't unleash its full potential.


    We offer you multiple ways to share your video and even here we have different options ready to be used depending if you are the video owner or not. If the video belongs to your channel, you can even change the design of the player (also depending on the account type)


    That's why you can easily put your alugha video on your website (and also on social media channels like Twitter, Kickstarter, Medium, Reddit, etc.) with just a few clicks and without any programming or coding knowledge.



    What's genius about the alugha player? The player automatically recognizes the language of the user's browser and plays the video directly in his or her preferred language.


    1. Open the Video you want to embed in your browser and click on the "Share" tab

    A. We recommend that you to select "Language: Automatic" so that the player recognizes the browser language of the user. Of course, if you explicitly want the video to start in a specific language, you can select it that here too.
    B. Next, choose the preferred aspect ratio and resolution of your video.
    C. If you want to share it directly by email or on a social network, you can do so by clicking on the "Share" dropdown menu.



    2. Embed to your website.

    If you choose to embed your video on your website, you can find the embed code under “Embed Code.”Copy and paste this code anywhere on your website.


    3. Brand your video

    We have recently added a really ingenious feature. You can now customize the alugha player and adapt it to your brand! You can select a custom color, upload a logo, and even hide the Alugha logo, all to help unify your branding efforts.

    Note: Branding works ONLY for the embedded player.
